The verification and testing of software is constantly gaining in importance, and the stakes in safety-critical areas such as medicine and aviation are high. Therefore software testing experts from Russia have come together in the Russian Software Testing Qualifications Board (RSTQB) to develop and define standardized contents for training in software testing. The RSTQB became an official member of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB^®) in 2006. The RSTQB and the ISTQB^® are both internationally recognized, independent and non-profit organizations.

By becoming an ISTQB^® Certified Tester, you will distinguish yourself as someone who knows how to apply those software testing techniques. We have designed the Foundation and Advanced certification programs to help you identify yourself to your employers and customers as a true test professional: One who studies the field, applies fundamental and sophisticated test techniques, and understands the important issues.
