International Workshop-Conference: Tools & Methods of Program Analysis


On 10-12 October 2013, Kostroma, Russia, will host 2013 International Workshop-Conference “Tools & Methods of Program Analysis” (TMPA-2013). Its general theme will be one of the most pertinent and important areas of software engineering: the analysis of software quality.

The issues of efficiency and correctness of software are key for the majority of knowledge-intensive industries in modern economy, including IT, financial sector, transportation, medicine, high-technology industries, and many others. The development of new instruments and methods of program analysis, as well as the modification of existing ones, is one of the necessary prerequisites for introducing innovation.

The purpose of the conference is to promote progress in the software development industry and the introduction of the latest achievements in the areas of testing, analysis and verification.

The conference program will include plenary reports and mini-courses delivered by experts; presentations selected by the Program Committee; presentations of on-going projects, short reports about new ideas, research that is still underway or new tools.

Andrey Konushin, RSTQB Chairman, comments: "RSTQB's goal is to standardize software quality assurance processes within the IT industry in Russia by developing and adapting international teaching and certification programs for software testing engineers. We hope that our support of TMPA-2013 conference will become another step in that direction."

As part of the conference the Board will set up an ISTQB exam for conference participants.
